Here we go again

So T4 decided to be a passive agressive bacteriophage last week.

The microcosms neglected to show any significant flourescence after 12 hours.

The microcosm replicates behaved differently despite the fact that both were treated the same items, procedure, and with equality.

What to do next?

  1. Make more TSB plates and top agar.
  2. Grow more Ecoli host.
  3. Grow up more precious T4.
  4. Conduct an experiment to determine the effect of DNase and heat on microscopy counts when T4 is mounted directly onto an anodisc.
  5. Make a new set of microcosms based on the above results. (T4 set)

Hopefully, I can get to test M. smegmatis bacteriophage this summer.
