I finally managed to build my first social network map using Pajek. It is by no means finished and I am still not as comfortable with the computer program as I would like to be, but it is already interesting to look at the social network and just analyze it visually.
well just remembered to start the blog updates. hope its not too late to finish the five parts. i came back to wm at the end of June to start the project with prof. McHenry about the effect of immigration on people’s decision about education. The project consists of two parts, first the census data will be used to measure the number of immigrants at each area; second part is about the analyze of nels88 data to see how people made decisions about education.
