Summer Update #3

Hey guys!

Today was a great day in lab even though we said bye to yet another lab member. I felt that it was very productive and a time well-spent (as is everyday, of course…). Today consisted of reaching a good stopping point for my projects, as well as cleaning and re-stocking most things for the lab. We stacked tips, cleaned the counters, made more antibiotics, and washed glassware so that everything is ready to go for the beginning of fall semester.

Summer Update #2

Hey everyone!

Today we had our last lab meeting of the summer, which was pretty sad (mostly because I won’t get free Panera bagels every Tuesday morning… thanks Doug!). It was also the last day of two of our lab members, both of whom are flying out to California tomorrow. Everything about today just made it all the more real that my last summer research with Young lab is truly coming to an end. Having said that, I’m still excited to go home and rest for a bit before coming back for my senior year!

Hi everyone! My name is Sanjana Verma and I’m a rising senior (wow, it feels weird to type that) at the College. I’m from Northern VA (…who isn’t?), more specifically around the Chantilly/Centreville area, which is about 30-45min away from D.C.
